Red-shouldered Hawk

Red fell out of his nest when he was a baby. Upon examination, our wildlife veterinarian discovered that Red’s fall left him with neurological damage, which meant the little red-shouldered hawk could not be re-released back into the wild.

When you visit Lindsay, you can hear Red making his distinctive scream-like call from March until May—he’s looking for a lady love. Unfortunately, Red won’t find a mate at Lindsay, but he CAN find someone to adopt him! Won’t you be that special someone?
