We make HAPPY CAMPERS here at Lindsay! Our weekly camp programs are designed to captivate, engage and challenge children, ages 4-10. We help them learn about animals, the environment, and have FUN! From digging up dinosaurs to natural explorers, these curriculum-based camps offer children a real chance to learn about science and nature unique to our museum. This year, camp will be held entirely outdoors in the Lindsay Wildlife Experience open-air classroom

For ages 4-10
Schedule: Tuesday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Cost: $100 for members, $125 for non-members.

The first camp session begins on July 7th.

Teen Counselors Needed!

Do you love wildlife and enjoy working with children? Apply to become a Teen Summer Camp Counselor and assist our museum educators in guiding kids through wildlife–themed games, crafts, and other activities during our summer camps. Meet our animal ambassadors alongside our campers and engage in a variety of wildlife topics. Preference will be given to applicants with prior childcare or camp experience.

Counselor Fee: $60

Attendance: counselors must attend at least 1 week of camp, but there is no additional fee to participate in additional weeks.

Opportunities: there will be a maximum of 3 teen counselors per week.

Camps: shifts run from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. The session dates are July 7th – July 9th, July 14th – July 16th, July 21st – July 23rd, July 28th – July 30th, and August 4th – August 6th.

Training: counselors will be required to attend three days of training. Dates TBD.

Deadline: Friday, May 1st

Note: Camp Counselors must be between the ages of 14–17.
