E-Camp: Build a Bee Hotel

Part of Lindsay’s E-camp series

Learn about our native bees in this one-hour online workshop. They don’t all live in a hive, make honey or even have stingers. Bees come in all shapes and sizes. Learn about the diversity of bees and their homes in our backyards. Build a home for bees to hang up outdoors. Kits for this project will be provided. An internet connected computer with a webcam and a microphone are required for this workshop.

Fee:  $38 / $30 for members

Ages: 4-7 years old

Materials Needed: Vines and sticks from your local area should be gathered and cut to 6 inches long before the start of class–enough to pack a red solo cup.
