Green Future: Electricity
Virtual E-Lindsay Class
Join us online in this one and a half hour online workshop as we learn about electricity, how it’s generated, and how our planet has been affected by the burning of non-renewable fossil fuels to generate it. We’ll experiment with static electricity by making an electrophorus to collect it and a Leyden jar to store it; plus we’ll learn how to make electrical circuits. This online workshop comes with a kit containing just about everything, but you will need to provide tape and water. Kits must be picked up from the museum the week before class. If you have issues retrieving your kit, reach out to [email protected] ASAP and we will see if we are able to work with you. An internet-connected computer with a webcam and a microphone are required for this workshop. Adult guidance is recommended.
