Exhibit Hall Safety Protocols

Proof of Full COVID-19 Vaccination Is Required for Entry

Lindsay Wildlife Experience requires that all guests age 12 and older present proof of vaccination against COVID-19 before entering our Exhibit Hall and Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital.

This requirement applies to our indoor facilities only; guests ages 12 and older who choose not to provide proof of vaccination can still enjoy our ticketed outdoor programs. All children age 11 and under are exempt from any proof of vaccination requirement, and proof of a negative COVID-19 test is not required.

We ask that all visitors age 12 and older present one of the following forms of proof of vaccination when arriving at our facilities:

  • Original print or digital copy of a CDC vaccination record card
  • Digital State of California COVID-19 vaccination record.

Guests who are unable to supply proof of vaccination will not be admitted into our facilities except for those who cannot receive a vaccine because of medical or religious reasons. Exempted guests are required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test result from a test taken within 72 hours of a planned visit to Lindsay Wildlife Experience. We will accept only negative COVID-19 test results from a PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) rapid or regular COVID-19 test.

Masks Are a Must

We have taken a number of steps to ensure Exhibit Hall is a safe and healthy place to visit. In order to comply with Contra Costa County Health Services safety guidelines, all visitors must wear a mask that fully covers the nose and mouth, is secure under the chin, and fits snugly but comfortably against the face. We ask that all guests ages 2 and over arrive wearing masks. Masks will also be available for purchase at our outdoor Guest Experience kiosk and in our museum store.

Masks must be worn at all times. At this time, neck gaiters, open-chin triangle bandanas and face coverings containing valves, mesh material or holes of any kind are not acceptable face coverings.

We ask that all visitors continue to practice social distancing while at Lindsay. We will do our best to keep you healthy and safe by practicing social distancing from all visitors. We ask that you do the same and practice social distancing with Lindsay Wildlife Experience staff members and animal ambassadors. Anyone who does not follow social distancing protocols will be asked to leave. We also provide no-touch, free-standing sanitizing stations

Please do not visit Lindsay if you or anyone you recently had contact with has an above normal temperature or is experiencing any signs of illness including, but not limited to, sneezing, coughing or congestion. We will happily refund your tickets. You can always visit us here at www.lindsaywildlife.org, keep up with us on Facebook or Instagram, or sign up for our Wildlife Wonders e-newsletter.
