Lindsay Wildlife’s 9th Annual Faces of Wildlife Gala draws more than 200 to celebrate wildlife!
WALNUT CREEK, CALIF./May 31, 2019 /— Lindsay Wildlife Experience celebrated its 9th annual Faces of Wildlife Gala at Blackhawk Museum May 18, 2019.
WHAT: More than 200 people enjoyed a spectacular night filled with animals, classic cars and live and silent auctions. Lindsay’s biggest fundraiser of the year raised more than $153,000 for the 64-year-old wildlife rehabilitation hospital and education center. The helps the wildlife hospital which takes in more than 5,500 animals each year and helps fund as Lindsay’s education programs which serve nearly 100,000 annually including visitors to Lindsay’s exhibit hall.
Guests at Faces of Wildlife enjoyed specialty cocktails, up-close experiences with a tortoise, desert iguanas and owls and a live “Quick Draw” as artists painted renderings of Lord Richard, Lindsay’s famed turkey vulture. The night concluded with a flight show featuring Lindsay’s red-tailed hawk, Fire. Then guests danced to music from The Cheeseballs.
