New Winter Mini Mondays at Walnut Creek’s Lindsay Wildlife Museum
Animal encounters, arts and crafts and fun in December and January
WALNUT CREEK, CALIF.—December 2, 2013—Lindsay Wildlife Museum (LWM), http://wildlife-museum.org/, is pleased to announce the next dates for the popular “Mini Mondays” at the museum.
What: On Monday, December 16 and Monday, January 27, children from 2-5 years old become naturalists as they experience live animal encounters. The two-hour program allows little ones to explore different animal species through arts, crafts, activities and more. Nut-free refreshments are provided. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Registration is not required.
Where: Lindsay Wildlife Museum, 1931 First Ave., Walnut Creek, adjacent to Larkey Park.
When:
- Monday, December 16 ; 10 a.m. – noon with Nature in Winter. How do animals stay warm and cozy?
- Monday, January 27 ; 10 a.m. – noon with Home in the Dirt. What animals call the ground home and what are they up to in there?
Cost: $8/members, $15/non-members, $5 each additional child age 2 and older.

Admission is free for members and children under 2 years old, $8.50 for adults, $7.50 for seniors 65+ and $6.50 for children 2 -17.
