Roswitha M. Kress Art Exhibit at Lindsay Wildlife

What: Lindsay Wildlife Experience announces the opening of a new art exhibit: Hills and Open Space Around Us. This exhibit captures the beautiful landscape and wildlife of Mt. Diablo and the Tri-Valley area in luminous plein-air paintings.

Who: This Exhibit features the artwork of longtime Walnut Creek resident Roswitha M. Kress. Kress expresses, “As a plein-air painter my approach to nature is intuitive, not pre-conceived, but a spontaneous reaction to what I see and feel at that particular moment in time.”

Where: This small exhibit will be located in the Buckeye Room on the second floor of the Lindsay Wildlife Experience.

When: Sept. 4 to Nov. 2. Artist Reception: Sunday, Sept. 20, 4 to 6 p.m., Buckeye Room

Fee: Free with cost of admission to Lindsay Wildlife.
